Sri Krishna Charithram Part 1

Hey guys. I'm extremely sorry that I didn't post anything for the past one month. April is a very busy month for me. I also went to Cleveland for one week for a music competition. I even have many competitions running this weekend, so I couldn't post anything new this week. Probably next week will be my redemption week. My mom had a Mahaperiyava Satsangam last week and I couldn't live stream it because I was just that busy. She started saying the story of Krishna. Here is the video below for Krishna Charithram Part 1.

Shiva Aparadha Kshamapana Stotram Meaning in Tamil

Image result for Shiva Aparadha Kshamapana Stotram
Hey guys. Given below is the meaning, in Tamil, of Shiva Aparadha Kshamapana Stotram. It's a beautiful and a moving Stotram on Lord Shiva composed by Sri Sankaracharya. Basically, this Stotram seeks the forgiveness from Lord Shiva for all our misdeeds (Paavam) and seeks eternal bliss. It's always better to chant the Stotram with full knowledge of its meaning. That'll give us good Bhaavam (attitude).
This article was composed by my dad. But, all the verses of the meaning will be a Tamil translation of the original Sanskrit verses. Below is the Shiva Aparadha Kshamapana Stotram Meaning in Tamil. Tune in for more content.

Forgotten Places in India

Hey guys. I didn't post anything last week because I was super busy. Even this week, I was busy. But, I found this time appropriate to post something new in my blog. This article was also based on a message sent to us. This article is about the most forgotten place in India which is the Northeast part. I'll be embedding a video describing the lost value and preciousness of the Northeast. I'll be posting about 3 to 4 posts in the next few days, since I didn't post anything last week. This article is going to be pretty short. Tune in for more content like this. With that said, I'll be happy to introduce the article, "Forgotten Places in India."

Udhyoga Parva - Krishnar Dhoodhu of the Mahabharatha

Hey guys. We received some comments about the previous live stream and that the audio wasn't working. I listened to the live stream myself and couldn't figure out what happened. The last 30 minutes of the live stream had perfect audio though, surprisingly. Personally, I don't know what happened. Good thing for us we had the audio for the live stream. I was again disappointed that the live stream had some errors, but it motivated me to fix those little mishaps. My sister downloaded the video and audio onto Movie Maker in our computer and I overlapped the audio and video so the whole video is synchronized. I also uploaded the video to YouTube. It took a while to upload because it was such a big file. The video is down below. This is Udhyoda Parva - Krishnar Dhoodhu of the Mahabharatha said by my mom. Tune in for more content like this. Enjoy!

Number 5 is the Auspicious Number for Almighty

Image result for number 5 hindu
Hey guys. Sorry for not posting some content last week because I was really busy. Today I'll be talking about something very different from what I normally post. Unlike getting information from another article and stating my opinions and connections on it, I'm getting my information from an anonymous person who forwarded a message to us. It's all written in Tamil, but don't worry. I'll be giving an English translation and interpretation on the writing. I'll have the Tamil writing below the English verses. This article also involves numbers like a previous article I did about the value of pi. This article is going to be pretty short. Tune in for more content like this. With that said, I'll be happy to introduce the article, "Number 5 is the Auspicious Number for Almighty."

Virata Parva of the Mahabharatha

Hey guys. Due to some technical difficulties we weren't able to live stream our Mahaperiyava Satsangam yesterday. But, fortunately we recorded the audio of the Virata Parva Charithram. I was really disappointed that the live stream didn't turn out. But, it motivated me to do something different with the audio recording. My sister and I created a PowerPoint slide presentation with the audio of our Mahaperiyava Satsangam in the background. My sister turned that into a YouTube video and uploaded it just now. From now on, we are planning to create these type of PowerPoint YouTube videos for my mom's Mahaperiyava Satsangams that we don't have a video/live stream for. This is Virata Parva Charithram said by my mom. Here is the video below. Enjoy!

Akshara Mana Maalai

Image result for hd image of ramana maharshi

Hey guys. On the auspicious day of 137th Jayanthi (birthday) of Sri Ramana Maharishi (January 12, 2017), I’m giving you guys the history and background of Akshara Mana Maalai. It’s the first composition of Sri Ramana Maharishi. It consists of 108 beautiful verses and dwells on the highest principles of reality. It’s called Akshara Mana Maalai because each verse is alphabetically arranged. Mana Maalai means wedding garland. The verses are in the form of the dialogue between the bride (Ramana Maharishi) and the groom (Lord Arunachala).
This is yet another work of my dad, but I'm working on an interesting article that I'll be posting tomorrow. The words are all in English, not Tamil. Below is the history of the Akshara Mana Maalai. Tune in for more content like this.

Pathigam for Getting Rid of Hardhsips and Obstacles

  Image result for nilai rajagopuram
Hey guys. I only posted the translation last week, because it was a really long translation. I will post another content later today or tomorrow, if possible. Today, I'm again posting a content that my dad has created on Pathigam for Getting Rid of Hardships and Obstacles.
The background of this article is that, this Pathigam was sung by Thirugnanasambandar on Lord Shiva. By singing this Pathigam we can get rid of our hardships and obstacles. Once one devotee of Sri Mahaperiyava wanted to go to Kasi and North India Pilgrimage; But due to some reason, he always faced some hardships and obstacles. He prayed to Mahaperiyava. Mahaperiyava suggested this Pathigam. That devotee kept chanting and finally successfully completed his pilgrimage. We can also sing this Pathigam for our benefit.
My dad gave the meaning in English to each of the stanzas in the Pathikam. There are some pictures to go along with the songs and the songs are written in Tamil. Sorry if you can't read Tamil, but still you have the English meanings. Below is the full Pathikam in a google doc. Tune in for more content like this.

 Survey Finds1
Hey guys. Happy Winter Holidays. Today, I'll be revisiting topics relating to our Hindu religion. I'm sorry for not posting last week. This was because I was busy finishing up my third translation of my mom's Mahaperiyava Satsangam. I'm very happy to say that I'm done with this translation and will be posting it next week. Because of this, this article is the only thing that I'll post this week. With that said, I'll be happy to introduce the article, "Survey Finds Hindus Lived 74,000 Years Ago."

Mahaperiyava Knows Everything...

Image result for mahaperiyava
Hey guys. I already posted an article about the Saraswati River yesterday. It is pretty long and it's pretty good. I spent quite a bit of time researching about the topic and spent some effort in that article. But today, I've decided to post an article about Mahaperiyava himself. I thought, "Since this blog's title is called Mahaperiyava Satsangam, I should post an article about Mahaperiyava." My third translation is still under way and I've gotten most of it done. I'm estimating that I'll be posting it around next week. With that said, I'll be happy to introduce the article, "Mahaperiyava Knows Everything..."
